FFXV is a meaty game, but the kind you will either not finish or never touch again after you beat it (unless you want to clear all the side quests).

I don't know about that.  Final Fantasy Games are notorious for having good replay factor. And since this one is open world...i would bet there is a lot of little side quests people will want to find on a second playthrough.

Since I don`t even have a PS4 right now, i`ll wait til next year, and probably will be purchased with the console, I just hope they already released an Complete Edition or something with all DLC included by that.

God i sure as hell ain't gonna do all those sidequests again. Once i'm done, i'm not touching it again. 

FF7 was the only one i replayed. My time is not so easily available for replays. Only for amazing awesome games. Sorry, but FFXV is alright but doesn't fit the bill.
