Either SIEA is incompetent or it cares more about profit margins than sales volume. Bundling a 1st party game is less expensive than bundling a 3rd party game. |
They still have other first party games than only Uncharted 4 though.

I read an article that said that cyber monday did bigger business than black friday for the first time. So by that logic Xbox won?

I think it's because UC4 is the most popular 1st party game by a wide margin. Also, Gamestop offered R&C or TLOU along with the UC4 bundle while Best Buy offered both.

Edit: i just realized the pro sold better on cybermonday because of the deals.. makes sense now. |
What I find jarring was that either a lot of people were holding off to buy the PS4 Slim on BF or Gears really did drive a lot of the initial support for the XBOS...
Either that or people realized the PS4 Pro sucked and their expectations changed drastically, since it seems it might not have been as popular as the Slim... Now I realize these patterns make no sense. I'd expect the Pro the be the main source of sales, rather than the out since Summer Slim...
It does confirm something though... Microsoft fans no longer like stores, so my call was right...

ONLINE.
Online shopping was more on cyber monday than online shopping was on BF.
MS won online on BF and PS4 won online on cybermonday.
Retail shopping is still way bigger than online shopping. Unless I'm grossly mistaken.

cool. but i thought cybermonday had better deals for the pro. I may be wrong. |
Here's my order:
And I had orginally mentioned this to say I was part of that "browser" crowd.

I dont know why you would think the pro would evee be the main drive for sales. It just makes no sense.
This is the holiday season. Gift buying season. People go where the deals are. And did you see deals on thr PS4? And the pro is an enthusiast console. It's not intended to push the kinda numbers a cheaper slim would push.
And I dont understand what you mean by MS fans no longer like stores. Could it just mean that online retailers had better deals for an XB1? Or MS losing the physical fight just means that they lost because MS fans rather buy their stuff online?

Retail is much bigger than Online for BF, I belive.

Maybe the older fat models sales?
