Technically, yeah. Origami is a type of papercraft where you only fold paper, so no cuts or glue/tape. It's very amazing and satisfies my math-art needs :P

And yes I get paid for doing it, and I only do that. So you can say I'm a professional.

I am an artist, but haven't sat down and seriously worked on a significant piece in a long while.  These pieces here from years ago are still my favorite and most time consuming works:

I am also a writer, focusing on fantasy short stories, poetry, and have a novel underway though that's slower going.  I've also dabbled in children's writing with a picture book script with a more fairytale feeling kind of fantasy.  I'm also using my writing skills in an indie game team where I am starting to improve my level/environment design skills as well.

That by definition is exactly what makes you an artist.

OT: Yh, im an artist too. Strictly as a hobby (though now that i think of it considering the progressional level equipment I have its been a very expensive one).

I seem to have this weird knack for drawing a girl just before or around when I break up with her. My gf hates that I refuse to draw her.... only if she knew I was doing her a favor.

Lmao.... thats one twisted mind you've got there. 

in my defence I think it's cause I use my art to get away from everything. That kinda means I only really sit and draw when I'm really sad about something. Sad about a relationship ending or abiut to end? draw.... wats interesting is that even in my sadness the only person that may keep my attention and focus long enough to finish a drawing is the same girl I'm about to break up with. Weird shit.

Could you send us some of your works? I am seriously impressed by professionals who work in the film industry
