I love PC and altough I own (nearly) all consoles made since 1985, PC has 80% of my playtime :)

My god...what is 2017 gonna look like???

I used to hate steam...couldn't stand that i couldn't give my games to someone else after i was done..i thought it was a waste of time and space on my computer...

Then they had black friday sales...and AAA games were selling for like 4 dollars... fallout 3 game of the year....5 bucks....next thing i knew...i had 20 games that just accumulated on steam that i had long lost the cds for. I'm Not saying that I rebought them...most games start just making you connect to steam to authenticate them.

Then Humble bundle came around...and now my collection is at like 40 games...all ready to get whever i want...

And now there are steam boxes coming out....why wouldn't I get a console that already has all of the games i have ready to play on it and even play new ones....if i want a faster console... i can just build one faster or buy one thats faster...

This should be something ps4 and xbone should fear...steam box is like Mordor growing in the background and guess what Sauron as had the ring the whole fucking time.

They need any quality control. Short of blatantly illegal content/practices eventually brought to their attention by enough people, they'll let just about any disgrace on their storefront these days.

It's growing very well and Valve should be proud of it. Doesn't mean it hasn't also developed dozens of malignant tumors.
