I mean, what I'd pay is not necessarily what I think they're worth. PS4 and XBO are both $400 machines, but I'd only pay max $300 for either, with a year of online included. I'd wait.
It's less to do with how I value them and more to do with my phylosophy that you should only need once system to play most games. Anything supplemental to that should only be bought at a supplemental price point. I already bought a Wii U at a premium price point, so I'd be unwilling to buy extraneous hardware at that same premium price.
So it's order. The first I'll pay the most for and the last I'll pay the least for. Buying the Wii U makes that second buy higher than normal because it's missing multiplats. If I had bought a PS4 or XBO first, I'd probably value to the other two even lower because they wouldn't have as much to gain, quantitatively.
Things like the Switch, Pro, and Scorpio make things even weirder though. I'd pay full price for Switch because it's a replacement, but I'd also pay full price for Pro and Scorpio because their upgrades of systems I'd pay lower for.
