Which one is the most honest of the 3?

Nintendo 30 32.61%

Microsoft 6 6.52%

Sony 15 16.30%

None 12 13.04%

Microsoft and Sony 5 5.43%

Nintendo and Sony 10 10.87%

Microsoft and Nintendo 2 2.17%

All 3 2 2.17%

Potato 10 10.87%

Total:92

If M$, Sony and the Big N were totally honest corporations, and they would price their consoles accordingly to what they are delivering (specs, graphic power, and storage), how much they would charge for their machines?? Ignoring software available for each one.

Personally, taking as the system base OG PS4 with 500 GB, OG Xbox1 with 500 GB, WiiU 32 GB...

PS4: $300

Xbox1: $270

WiiU: $ 170

What do you guys think?

EDIT: Lets put a little more context...

I paid the same amount of money (here in Mexico) for the WiiU than for the Xbox1. It was crazy, but i really wanted to try Mario Maker, so I bought the WiiU even tho, for me its a $170 machine not a $300 one (at least that was the lowest price I found to get it, same as the Xbox1).

If M$, Sony and the Big N were totally honest corporations, they would charge the manufacturing cost.

why? they'd still have transporting costs, marketing costs, developing costs etc etc etc to cover

cause this is a dream and honest corporations are not real, not even honest charities.

PS4- $270
XB1- $250(Without Kinect)
WiiU- $100

Yeah, but then again, how much would you pay for what each machine can do?

Lets not take in account how much the development for the technology costed... They put the 3 in your hands and show you what each can do, how much would you pay for each?

That pretty much sums it up nicely. potatoes for the win!!!

I don't think them selling it for more than the manufacturing cost is technically dishonest. It's not like they're trying to pretend that the price they sell it for is the actual manufacturing cost because no one would believe that anyways. Gotta make a profit somehow, and you can't fault a company for wanting to make some sort of profit. If they're overselling it, sure, but I don't know if "most honest" is I would call the company that gives us the best bargain.

This doesn't make any sense...What do you mean by honest corporation? Are you asking how much the consoles would cost if they weren't trying to make a profit? Because that has nothing to do with honesty.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

It's not feasible now but I would love it if consoles were 200-250 dollars again. 400 is crazy to me I don't care what the specs are.
