Reported by GFK, PS4 seen it’s second biggest week ever, only under the original launch back in November 2013, which was a massive 250,000 units sold in 2 days.

The PS4 was up YOY and beat least year Black Friday sales of 139,000 units.

We know nothing about Xbox one yet. Original article from GFK:

"The Black Friday promotions have a huge effect on nearly every Top 40 title with big gains for PS4 games bundled with hardware, in particular ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ which re-enters the Top 40 at No8, ‘Driveclub’, a re-entry at No20 and ‘Ratchet & Clank’ a re-entry at No25. In fact, it is the biggest week for PS4 console hardware since launch, beating last year’s Black Friday."

Why does it say UK and the picture shows Dollares?
Anyway, expected with a new console to launch this month - pro and slim combined with crazy deals and appropriate prices were set to have an impact on sales.
