Do you get Hangovers..

I am not a big person but I can have a lot of drinks and wake up fine the next day.

When I was 18, I didn't have any problems at all. The older I got, the worse were the hangovers. Sometimes I was wasted for days and had serious psychological issues. But no probs today. I don't drink anymore.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

The key to avoiding a hangover is to stop drinking and eat a large meal before you go to bed. It's that simple. It's when you go to bed without eating that gets you the hangover the next day.

If I don't take the proper measures, yeah. Gives me a terrible headache otherwise.

Dehydration is the main cause of hangovers. Eating before or while you drink helps bind the alcohol somewhat but the best thing is to drink lots of water or, if possible, juice or Gatorade. I try to at least drink a bottle of water before bed.

Some people don't seem to get dehydrated as badly by alcohol but it hits me pretty hard. Coffee does, too.

I was at a party last night and i had like 6-8 screwdrivers and slept at 1am and woke up at 7am ...

My friends are likely wont be awake till noon lol

Well basically this.

Alcahol and Caffine are diaretics, drugs that causes the body to dump its water weight, which causes hangovers. So to combat it by doing the above. (Note that it will prevent you from becoming drunk)

Meals help slow the body's alcohol absorbtion rate. Water helps in dilution and processing and I've found sugars are truly my biggest friend the next morning, e.g. honey.

But as far as being superfluous to a hangover, well, we're all built differently. But drinking an entire fifth of cheap vodka is almost a sure bet to give you a hangover.

I think I dont get hangovers as the most I ever will have is like half of a bottle lol

It depends on where I get the alcohol. I have a terrible hangover today, I'd say that probably the gin I drank yesterday was adulterated.

Nah. I barely drink. I bought a bottle of vodka back on New Year's Eve and it lasted until October. There's no alcohol in my house at the moment.
