Sounds about right.

Everything went in accordance to my expectatioms. From the 8 hours i played, it is about an 8/10. The combat is as limited as i expected. Tolerable, but not great.

It will go down as an average not hated entry in the series, but it's far from master piece status.

I loved all the commitment, but part of me wished they had just kept to a gourgeous turn-based game with Nomura's story. I do hope they do that next time. Though i'm not holding my breath.

 

With that said, my impressions may become worse if these rumors about a weak story check out. We'll see.

How many chapters are there? Im 14 hours in now and still on chapter 3. Im also doing all the sidequests and hunting i can.

As a huge Final Fantasy fan who thought Overwatch was pretty boring when I played the free trial... I`d say that Overwatch is the better product, by far!

never finished a FF before and i am Day 1 buyer and say the game is awesome and deservers the same score like the Witcher as it is the better game

Didn't get my Ultimate Collector's Edition today, I'm abit sad since shipping costs a ton on Square Enix Store...oh well!

People seem to like the game aswell, user score is at 8.1 out of 834 ratings. I know it doesnt mean much but alot of games get shit on by people rating 0 on there.
