for those of you who dont know what habbo is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habbo
if you look at home and habbo, they have some, and, potential similarities, and problems.
in habbo and home you can walk around with your own avatar. one of the main problems ive found on habbo with your avatar, is that people with no lives, make their guys really fucked up to bother for example black people, and they make their guys look like bloods and crips, and they end up netbanging. will this happen on home?: Yes
you can purchase habbo coins on habbo for extra "furni" and to play games. people on habbo end up wasting HUNDREDS of dollars on friken pixels, i ve seen this first hand. and guess what you can do on home? yes purchase extra things. sony will definetley make a huge profit off of that.
armys and gangs. this will for sure happen on home, as it already happens on habbo. i can already see a whole bunch of nerds making a USSR clan (theres one on habbo), and meeting in their little room to play call of duty 4. i can also see a whole bunch of "gangstas" flooding the main lobby saying things like "fuck slobks!" "bloods rule!" etc etc. i can also see the one random white avatar shouting a whole bunch of racist comments in the main lobby.
o yes and lets not forget cyber sex. i see this on habbo and it sickens me. people think other habbos (made up of pixels) are cute and sexy! like really! i can see some guy bringing the one random girl back to their room and cybering. i can also see a whole bunch of pervs gathering in a room and sharing porno vids.
hmmm, what else do i see on habbo? o yes blocking. habbo only has about 100,000 people on the US server everyday, and it takes them forever to ban some1 who is blocking. imaginr millions of home users! sony betetr do a damn good job of moderating.
Also on habbo, you can join this special club called habbo club. its where you get a wider variety in clothing and acess to certain rooms. sony should copy this.
so yes habbo and its pros and cons, and i see massive similaities and problems with habbo and Home.
