I'm sorry dude, but honestly this was coming miles away, people are going to defend this a lot so get use to being told that square enix did nothing wrong with Final Fantasy 15, when all the reviewers played the PS4 Pro version and say their no issues with the game as their defense or that the gameplay is awesome.

Though the guy might have some fair point, I still think you can't judge a game by only playing One hour.

Does it, tho? Or is this just one of those "this is not the gameplay I personally love the most so therefore the whole game sucks" kinda rants?

You had high expectations based one what? One look at a screenshot and I knew it would be utter garbage :D I mean the characters look like a Korean boy band or something, that alone makes me want to puke and never touch the game.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Just keep playing. 1h isnt very long.

His comment is mainly on graphics, sound and gameplay, if he was commenting on story. I could see issues, but those three you can start judging with an hour of a game, namely for Japanese RPGs, they rarely seem to flip those three categories from the first hour to the twenth hour. Actually majority of genres, that aren't lets say dark souls like or oldschool that had progression in difficulty.

Is there a tldw? No time for a 7min vid that could be summed up in one sentence.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Heart breaking.... I was scared this was gonna happend.... when I first saw the action style combat.

This is why I wanted them to stay linar and with turn-based combat.
Just stay with the japanese inspired gameplay, no need to "westernise" it.

I swear if they do the same with FF7R.
They need to go back to the foumla they had with FF6-FF10.

Graphics: Fair point. Though the Pro has good graphs, it's no excuse for the other version.

Gamplay: I'm a fan of turn-based games. But I'm willing to give this a try. It's a total new system for the FF series. In the first one hour you just have had a few fights. That's not enough time to judge the new battle system.

Sound: I've seen many trailers and gameplay videos of the games. I have no complaints about the sound.  If he has complaints about voice actors he can use Japanese voices.

Thats abit insensitive.... to the OP.

Guy is poreing his heart out, and really sad about the state final fantasy is in.

TLDR:  combat is meaningless buttonmashing fest.  Driveing is limited to small area's, load times are silly & often.
