Forums - Politics Discussion - Why people hate illegal immigrants and not their employers?

It's exaggerated, point taken, but I think that was quite obvious.

It is rather simple in the long term.

You either have a welfare state or open borders.

Sweden learned that the hard way

In USA, it`s very strange to see people hating illegal immigrants, people that are in an extremely vulnerable situation where their work force is sploited with their employers making them do crazy working schedules and receiving salaries under the legal minimum, and they have to accept this because they don`t have nobody to turn to and if they complaing the employers can call immigration, and the employer seems to face no consequence at all.

It`s very strange that people hate the vulnerable and desperate one instead the companies and people that use of this work force. Why you hate the mexican woman that cleans houses for supporting her family but think it`s ok for a Middle Class  family in suburbs to hire said woman, the hire is ok, the immigrant is the problem.

Americans have to see that is extremely convenient for them to have ILLEGAL immigrants and they profit from this in one moment or another, and it`s beyong hyprocritical for a nation that historically has destroyed other nations through economical agendas or straight faced war not wanting people there.

They do specifically because they feed the idiots abusing them. In a way, they don't really hate the people, but since employers will use them for cheap labor, they sort of depress living standards.

Since nothing can be done to the employers, their only resort is to expel the illegal immigrants so the employers no longer have cheap money. Few people think legalizing them is a good idea, since more would come and expect the same to happen. The best bet is to have them leave before the employers are able to move overseas and then streamline immigration protocols to allow them back at a sustainable rate and thus even though they're still the same people, they cannot be used any longer, thus allowing them to fight for better wages and whatnot.

Hence why the UK says it's not against migrants but wants a points using system, since this ensures the people coming in will generate money and keep it inside rather than send it to another country.

I can give you a classic example of outsourcing agencies who still offers h1b visas to employees from abroad and accommodates upto four persons to work under the vacancy of a single local recruit. This practice is taking place well among the big software techies and that's why you find many overseas skilled staff. This is actually drying up good vacancies for local recruits. Only select few who aspire for college degrees with current education system are offered high paying jobs and the rest gets taken up by highly skilled immigrants. The outsourced recruits who are ready to work on lower payscales is the direct outcome of these determined employers and even Trump administration is not going to work against it.

So now it's racist to not want to be replaced in a country built by and for one's own people? If you cheer the browning of America, how would you feel about other analogous situations? Imagine millions of white people immigrating to Africa, eventually becoming a large enough demographic to shift the political landscape and vote for even more white immigrants and eventually become a majority in formerly black countries. What would that be called? Oh, right, colonialism.

Also, the immigrants to which you refer are a net drain on the economy and government funding, espeically considering how they don't pay federal income taxes.

Actually, most of them DO pay taxes... even the illegals.

But I don't give a shit about boarders. I believe in human beings and their right to peace and happiness. It's my job on this earth to take care of those less fortunate than me and to think about others first. Let them come here and get jobs and prosper if they want.

The human race needs to learn some fucking compassion.

Oh no. We should destroy our culture and our history just for some stupid progressive "open borders" crap. Europe has gone too hell thanks in part to this, and everyday the US is slowly becoming "Estados Unidos de America". Star makes a good point, when European people where immigrating to Africa, it was a the "devils" deed, and they where destroying these countries. Well now the opposite happens, and its "ok"! Also strange that we see so many Mexicans coming in the US, and no one saids a word. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reconquista_(Mexico)

There is a lot more to equation than just cheap labor. These people receive the benefits of being a US citizen without any of the cost or responsibility. Besides, the current plans on deportation illegal immigrants who have committed a crime and border security doesn't mean that labor industries are out of workers. It's absurd to blame for companies to do the best they can in how the system works. People are given an environment to work with and any intelligent person is going to abuse it to their benefit. That's why I didn't understand why people went after Trump's taxes. He used to tax loopholes to minimize taxes.

That speaks to a broken system. Why blame him for playing within the rules? Fix the broken system.

It's mostly a mix of stupidity, cowardice, and whininess.

The people who blame immigrants for everything are typically cowards who are of lower intelligence. They don't know why their life sucks, but they know immigrants are an easy target, so they whine and bitch about them: "that immgant gots a jerb? That jerb cudda ben mah jerb! He took are jerbs!" They don't want to blame the people hiring because they're afraid of a "We hired him/her over you because this person is a harder and more qualified worker than you."

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

people really don't hate illegals personally for the most part. It is more they hate the concept that illegal immigration laws are not enforced.

Out of all countries, the USA has fear of immigrants. That's so brutally funny, you can't make that up. The whole country was made by invading a foreign continent. But instead of working and minding their own business, europeans back then decided it's a good idea to kill just about any native they walk on by and take a huge shit all over the environment.

The whole country is built by immigrants. Just don't forget that. It may seem like it's been forever, but it wasn't even 300 years ago. That's nothing in the scale of human history.

Then again, people never learn from history. They try so hard again and again, but history just keeps repeating itself. But just go ahead, make America great again, fight for nationalism and be proud. But don't act surprised when China takes that spot of the global superpower. There's no stopping Globalization. You can pull out of it and put your heads in the sand, but the world will keep turning and not even care. That's all I have to say. And thank god I'm not an American.

USA was not built by illegal immigants.

I find it interesting that people don't seem to understand the difference between someone coming here illegally and legally.

I mostly has to do with how they vote. It mostly has to do with the immigration act of 1965, after that point immigration was shifted from Europe to 3rd world countries. The immigrants from those countries tend to vote democrat and more socialist which is at odds with the political views of those who came here to escape large opressive governments. 78% of immigrants (legal or illegal) from latin america recieve some sort of welfare where as only 22% from Europe. What benefit is there to us if we have to pay them to be here? The only people that benefit from their presence are exploititive companies who can use their cheap labor.

I find it interesting that people use the argument "Who else is going to do those jobs" if we don't have illegal immigrants. Just a little history lesson, the south used that same argument for trying to keep their slaves. The immigration system is broken, and it is not being fixed because Republican corporate donors like to exploit the illegal immigrants and the democrats like the fact they vote for them.
