Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why I am not worried about getting FFXV on the Xbox

I doubt Square will even bother with a Scorpio version if the PS4/Xbox ratio of sales is the same as Final Fantasy Type Zero.

Care to make a bet? Loser puts " i was wrong" on his or her's sig

It takes a lot of anger, insecurity and buyer's remorse to end up making a thread to justify a purchase to strangers on internet

HEY LISTEN ASSHOLES I WILL BE THE ONE PLAYING THE SUPERIOR VERSION EVEN IF IT'S A BLURRY 720P LOL

This  has nothing to do with what I am saying. I have no buyers remorse. You have to have purchased it to have buyers remorse. I am thinking ahead.

I thought you were a ps4 guy

I like Sony more than Microsoft, but this decision is purely for multiplats in the future if anything about the Scorpio is to be believed. I dont take sides, but rather giving credit where it is due. I still think Sony is an insanely better developer than Microsoft though and im still getting the pro, so it not like I dont support them. Im just supporting them with exclusives.

I...alright...I can't say I'd ever buy a game with the hope of possibly being able to play it with prettier graphics down the road. But to each his own.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Id would also be good for more japanse games to make their way to the xbox, a lot of ps4 exclusives are exclusive because the developers just don't feel like they would make a profit on microsofts system, like NioH, Persona 5 etc, even with games like Nier: Automata and Final Fantasy coming to the xbox, more is always good, so I am happy you are one of the buyers.

I don't have an xbox myself, but if I did, I would have also gone for that version, it runs like crap on the PS4 too (I am playing it right now) so I don't think the 900p or 1080p makes much difference concidering the blurry experience with pop ins I am having right now, the only people that deffenitely should go PS4 are the people with a pro, since its supposed to be better on that system, which is horrible because its never been like that on consoles that people who pay a premium price get to play the game normal lol

A poor man's musou and port wishful thinking, wow the xbone is swimming in jrpg's

Scalebound looks nothing like a mosou game to me, lol.

As for the FF7 remake, it must be intended for some other platform or they wouldn't have announced it as a timked exclusive. Switch seems like it'll be too weak to run it, so that only leaves PC and XB1.

Some people choose to get offended at others decision making if it doesnt mirror their own. The Xbox One is getting all applicable final fantasy games outside of the X remasters. Exclusivity the way games are selling this year as of late is  completely justified.  Microsoft is partially responsible for low sales for certain games that could've sold better if they launc hed on both platforms day one.

We're on a videogame website where gamers have conversations. Do you mean to tell me you've never played a game twice? If you have and you're making fun of what I am saying....you're kind of a hypocrite.

i'm not making fun of playing a game twice, i'm making fun of you feeling the need to justify to yourself buying a way inferior version of a game on a inferior platform because you assume that in the future you'll be able to play the superior version when your favorite platform won't be inferior anymore

My favorite platforms have always been Sony. Thats pretty much been known on this site. It seems to trigger people when you say a positive thing about a Microsoft platform. I used to deny it, but its becoming blindingly obvious now.
