Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why I am not worried about getting FFXV on the Xbox

This makes little to no sense. If you want to play it on the xbox one - feel free. You don't need to justify or defend it.

You are already assuming that you will enjoy the gameplay so much - that you would be fine playing it a second time. A second time while already knowing the entire story. A second time in a year - with no new content.

That is assuming the game even looks better in a year. The pro came out shorly before FF15. The Scorpio will come out more than a year later. It is also assuming that the game will be work playing simply because of 4k/HDR.

There is a huge difference between putting in a little work BEFORE a game comes out, and putting in that same amount of work a YEAR later.

You assume far too much.

No.....you're not getting my point. I am saying I will play it just for the sake of playing it on the Xbox One and then because of the new initiatives will bumping up 4k versions on the pro, its pretty much common sense that Square will have a 4k to 1080p  60fps version for the Scorpio. As I said, Last year my thinking would've been different and more Sony oriented, but time has helped me understand the value of the Scorpio in this respect. My assumption is actually more safe than you think. Im not saying the pros games will suck, but I am saying that Microsoft (if their specs are going to be what they say they are) the game should run smoother on the Scorpio. I will have both so in the end it doesnt really matter. I think this has more to do that I said something positive about a Microsoft platform.

?

I doubt Square will even bother with a Scorpio version if the PS4/Xbox ratio of sales is the same as Final Fantasy Type Zero.

It's an interesting way to tackle it. I would suggest waiting.

It takes a lot of anger, insecurity and buyer's remorse to end up making a thread to justify a purchase to strangers on internet

HEY LISTEN ASSHOLES I WILL BE THE ONE PLAYING THE SUPERIOR VERSION EVEN IF IT'S A BLURRY 720P LOL

I'll be getting this on Xbox One :) Not hoping to play it again on my Scorpio tho. But I played the demo (Duscae) and it looked great already.

Played the demo on my Play Station Four this week (created a Japanese account for it) and frankly, I do not see any difference between the 2 platforms. Sure I can see some framerate drops (on both platforms) but I did not find any game breaker or this to happen way more often on the Xbox One.

I believe you are doing the right thing. Not sure if you are really going to play it again. This game is huge...

Outside KH3 in 2018 (if not canceled) you have nothing on the bone anyway

Scalebound. And FF7 remake was only announced as a timed PS4 exclusive, so it could come to XB1 eventually.

A poor man's musou and port wishful thinking, wow the xbone is swimming in jrpg's
