Is 150 usd for a mobo the norm these days? When I built my PC 2 years ago my mobo was like 75 usd and it was mini-itx so I paid premium for small size.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

It's on sale where I live though.

Looks like a good rounded build =D.

I wouldn't say that you need to take advice on skimping more on the CPU side of things though, it seems fine and the last thing you want to do is dial back more and more on the CPU, then find some games coming out within the next few years demanding more from the CPU (like RTS and Sim games).

1060 Strix has 3 fans, my Zotac 980 AMP has two, so I'd say having 3 fans would be better than two =P. That and I've heard good things for Strix cards.

It's harsh (because it's expensive) but I would try and get the best graphics card you can.
Once upon a time a good card would get you top of the line performance for a good few years at the least. Now days with game graphics evolving faster and with publishers being less arsed to properly optimise games, you'll want to future proof your graphics card as much as possible.

The motherboard, power supply and hybrid drive are a little overkill but other than that, it looks like a great system that should run everything you throw at it, at 1440p to 4K at 60FPS.

I would also get 3000Mhz+ memory rather than the 2133 as it can usually be had for about the same price (At least in the US).

If you just want good performance for as cheap as possible, don't get an SSD.
