Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 1TB - Uncharted 4 Limited Edition Bundle or PS4 Slim 1TB U4+UC Bundle; which one do I buy? Original or Slim?

So... I have the chance to get the 1TB PS4 Uncharted 4 Limited Edition Bundle (the Grey Blue one) for 329€, or the standard 1TB PS4 Slim with Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Collection for 349€. The point is, I don't know which PS4 model is better; the Uncharted 4 One (¿CUH 1216B?) or the Slim. I've seen comparative videos and it seems that the original PS4 was very noisy compared to the Slim, but the Uncharted 4 model, having a diferent CUH than the first PS4, may have slightly improved the noise problem. Which one do you think is quieter? And... Is it a big difference?

And finally... PS4 or PS4 Slim; which one do you think is better? I've heard that the Slim gets hotter and materials are cheapper, but the Original one may be bulkier and noisier... Ahhh! Can't decide!

P.S.: I'm not interested in PS4 Pro.

Does the limited edition have like a skin on it? If so, I would get it cause it will be more special which = higher resell value.

If not, then slim since u get the collection

I dont think either of the issues the consoles have will be that care worthy unless you love super quietness

Yep, this one: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/ps4/systems/limited-edition-uncharted-4-ps4-bundle/

Looks great to me, so I'm seriously considering to get it...

Go for the Uncharted skin!!

If I didnt own a PS4 and was in your situation I'd get the Slim. It's quieter and more energy efficient, what's not to love about that.

Go with the slim..

I have a star wars LE and I'm getting a pro today but i won't ever trade in my LE, it's a special console that is no longer available and some day could have a cool resale value, I'm trading my original instead. I play on my original ps4 and on my sw le on a computer desk, so very near to me, and yes, i can hear them sometimes but it's not that annoying, and if you game with headset this a not a issue even if they are right there on your side. I would go for the LE and i would have bought that if i hadn't the star wars one, i did try to convince my wife but she called me crazy. If i could i would collect some of them, the Batman, MGS V and the U4 would be the first ones to add, if i could get a 20th anniversary one too would be just gold.

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

It seems that the noise problem was adressed with the 1100 and 1200 CUH revisions. I guess it won't be as quieter as the Slim, but I hope it's not as noisy as the original  =P

Power efficiency was also improved with these revisions (still not as efficient as the Slim, but better than the first model).

Hum... If only I had a way to compare them... =P

Slim > Cool looks.
Id go for the slim, its more quiet, and just... newer. Uses less power too, generates less heat.

Limited edition all the way. You can buy UC collection on a deal later. Slim is a bit less noisy but you'll have a much better resell value with the LE edition
