Wii U obviously. The first ever Nintendo home console that will never be a part of my collection. The Wii U is basically everything wrong with Nintendo all wrapped up in one half-assed, terribly named console.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

What this thread has taught me is that too many people here are too young to remember the N64, and also people really didn't dig into the wii library. I see a lot of false information in here about both consoles. I have over 20 games for Wii U but it's my least favorite. I'm really digging the bottom of the barrel right now trying to find new games to play on the Wii U that appeal to me. It's still a good system but Nintendo's worst.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Wii U, it was just stupid on Nintendo's part to make GameCube ideas the core of the system while the software library took a similar direction. At least it got some good 2D platformers, unlike the barren GC. What makes the Wii U so disappointing is that Nintendo should have known better. The GC was just the next step on a continued decline, but the Wii U came right after Nintendo's most successful home console. Wii U also managed to surpass the N64's dreadful software droughts and that was not an easy feat.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

People like to defend the Wii U because it is the fragile small ugly kid. The other ones can defend themselves. That's why they point other consoles, to not hurt the feelings of the kiddo.

My best to worst:

1. SNES
2. NES
3. Gamecube
4. N64
5. Wii
6. WiiU

Ever since the GameCube, there have been some noticeable droughts occurring toward the end of the console lifecycle. These have only grown in size with each generation afterward, right up to my WiiU, which has spent half of its life untouched.

Just this alone has convinced me to wait for the Switch to get a decent library before buying into it, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one thinking this way, either.

Me too, and I found it nonsense, such an epic console, how is possible to hate it?

WiiU - the only Nintendo I don't want to buy because there are almost no reason to have it. Especially when almost all the games I want to play on WiiU will be ported to Switch

Of course you won't have many reasons to buy it when the next console is gonna get out in 4 months, but that's the logical thing, there are few reason to buy a Ps3 in 2014, but there was way more reasons to buy it years before when its biggest exclusives were still exclusives.

I'm curious why some people voted for SNES... I'm guessing younger people born in the late 90's-early 00's???
