Free performance upgrades without patches (usually), backwards compatibility!

I have a 4670K@4.6Ghz and a GTX 1070 that boosts to 2.15Ghz. I run Overwatch at 4K/60. I run BF4 at 4K/60. I run Fallout 4 at 4K/50. I run Doom at 1440p/90FPS I run RotTR at 1440p/75FPS You have no idea what you're talking about. Like me, you're a Sony fan that is upset with how the PS4 Pro is performing. I'm right there with you! There are over a half dozen Pro games with frame rates that drop below 30FPS! Instead of defending it, lets speak up an let Sony know we want better support in the future!

you dont Rise of the Tombraider wont even hit 60fps on that rig in 1080p

Seriously, Ruler. Are you familiar with the concept that if you make a statement, then you have to prove it? Show us for every console mentioned what a $1000 PC at that time was capable of and compare the games on PC with the games on the console. And don't try to evade this with "it's common knowledge" - it's not. I am looking forward to your detailed anwer. |

Sytems with Pentium II processors are expected to be priced initially above $2,500, with most over $3,000. |
cant recall the PS1 having a HD and 32mb ram either
HoloDust said: Yeah, sorry, but no. Hitman is heavily AMD optimized title and if you want to compare apples to apples you should try it with PC with AMD GPU. PS4Pro is a slick machine, but it still has crap CPU, mediocre GPU and it will never perform even close to $1000 PC (which will pack at least 1070). |
sounds like a good platform if the GPU brand determines your performance for every game

ROTT doesn't run on 60fps on the pro, nor does it run in ultra on the pro, even on the high graphics settings (30fps) it still doesnt run on ultra >_>
ROTT is quite a demanding game both graphics and cpu wise, why are you even pulling that video out of the box, he said he runs ROTT on 1440p/75fps, he could.
Just not on ULTRA settings, same as the ps4 pro has modes you can select people often want to play pc games on lower graphical settings to get 60, sometimes even 144 fps for thesmoother experience... running that game on those settings with those frames, on a I5 (mid range) processor with a 1070GTX (not highest end gpu) is quite good. and that is your $1000 pc right there.
also use reliable websites for graphics results like >> http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/geforce-gtx-1060-review,13.html
you will see the 1060GTX runs on very high (which is pretty much the 30fps pro mode) on full HD with an average 78FPS
also note DX12 increases the Nvidia performance of the 1xxx range cards quite a bit. and the closest thing in the guru charts to a ps4 pro is the 480, altough it has much more dedicated graphics memory and runs at higher clockspeeds even graphics cards under 300 beat it....

Did you really link a video with someone running a betchmark with SSAA x4? Are you trolling?

Appart from being the best for those genres it also has the best indies on the market, the 95% of console catalogue, access to all kinds of emulators, a huge mod variety for all kind of games and eternal backward compatibility. Oh, and you don't have to pay extra to play your games online.

i have BC by keeping my consoles, we get all PC indies these days plus japanese exclusives which PC lacks, you can emulate almost everything on an original Xbox console too. I dont get why you bring all these arguments up
