Agreed I have no issue with competition. I'm just imagining that's their POV right now.

No need, they will have strong sales for the next two months and outsell X1 worldwide by at least 1.5:1, and it will go back to being closer to 2:1 after the holidays.
Plus, it gives them more room to have big price drops next year. $100 off the Pro just before Scorpio perhaps

Exactly. Nice healthy lead. 2016, the year of the ps4 in the USA!

Now you are really joking. It will not be better than 2015:
2015
PS4: 5,730,000
XB1: 4,930,000
2016 YTD
PS4: 2,420,000
XB1: 2,220,000
(same source if you didn't read it already).
Sony still cares about sales. That's the reason why they made PSVR and a souped-up PS4 called the PS4 Pro to run PSVR more effectively than the vanilla PS4.

I said nice healthy lead, not more than 2015.
It's 2016 lead adds nicely to it's overall USA lead. It widened the gap this year which is great for Sony.

Which is by no means true as it won't be the best year for PS4 in US. What do you think makes it the year of the PS4 in US? Because it's widening the gap? Then last year and the year before that were also the year of the PS4 in US?
Also, saying 200k is a healthy lead when this is less then 10% the PS4 sold in total this year and less than 5% of what both sold combined is a certain way of interpreting a number but definitely not an objective one.
I think Sony could be down YoY in the US. If it happens then Sony needs to react because they could be down when they have 2 new hardware revisions.

The year of the ps4 means it's the winner. You're over complicating what I said.
Outselling their competition 2:1 probably got boring after 3 straight years.
