Step up from the Gamecube, which I got bored of halfway during the generation. Wii brought me back, some of the 7th Gen's best games were on there. A far cry from the WiiU for sure. Congrats to Wii and Nintendo on the anniversary!

Happy Birthday Wii. Lots of good memories. Still can't believe I got one day one without a preorder. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are some of the best games ever and Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda.

Same as myself, went to game stop the day it launched, was told that every one they had was pre ordered and as such the only way I could get a console was if a pre order person failed to come down to collect it, left my number with them, got a call around 5 o clock, telling me to come down, my Wii to this day is still named "Cancelled" after the pre order which I got it from!

Wii is one of my favorite consoles.

I still remember seeing the iconic "Wii would like to play" commercials when I was in high school.

Xenoblade is best Wii game, sorry Mario Galaxy :P

This was the first console since the SNES that I couldn't get on day one! I couldn't get it until the following year, actually. That launch was crazy! We've from being a console that i thought nobody wanted to the console everybody had to have.
