This is just pessimism for the sake of pessimism, and once it doesn't happen, you will forget you were wrong (again) and continue to be pessimistic about the next thing, rinse and repeat.

Nintendo's image would be hurt by a move like this, but I don't think it would be as bad as you think, specially if they do it at the right place and moment. I would notice it and it would still piss me off, but I can't say the same for the majority of people on this site, and even less for the people outside the internet.

It would not go unnoticed by Nintendo's fanbase though, and when you're coming off your worst selling console and handheld (sans virtual boy) its not wise to piss off your loyalist core following.

I'm ok with that, but I also hope that once it is clear that is coming to WiiU that serves you to get rid of some of that pessimism for the next time. And also to Boberkun, he needs it even more than you.

Well, they may have been aimed at Boberkun, but let's face it, they can easily be applied to me as well. ;)

If Zelda comes to Wii U, it will restore some of my faith in Nintendo, that I can promise you. I won't instantly be their #1 fan again, but I will have much less reason to be pessimistic.

I have to admit. I'm kind of over Wii U's crappy life span and all this Switch hype is getting to me. If its come to Wii U - great, can wait for Switch to be cheaper but will buy the Switch version too so I can play on the go. If it doesnt come to Wii U, whatever. Gonna buy the switch sooner or later anyway.
