Forums - Nintendo Discussion - If Zelda:BotW delay is going to happen, Wii U version will be cancelled.

And don't even start "B-but they promoted it on E3". They promoted the game, but not a Wii U game.

It'll most likely get a limited print run like the GameCube version of Twilight Princess, but cancelled? No.

At this point, I think it's most likely the Wii U version will never see release.
And if so, I'm done with Nintendo forever.

They can make it digital-only, and kill all the sales of Wii U version.

Digital-only would be a win as far as I'm concerned; I expect no version of it for Wii U at all.

They showed off the Wii U version of the game, though. I believe that most of the gameplay footage is from that version as well. That being said, I highly doubt that they would cancel the Wii U version.

So they have a finished version of the game, with a possible userbase of 2-4 million and be like "lol jk"?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I want to see a new trailer with crisp and clean Wii U logo in the end of the video.

No it's not. No reason to. They will release both versions hard and digital on both platforms.
