The Wii's IR pointer lead to an influx of lightgun games, as unlike other systems, Wii could run them without the need for an additional peripheral. 

Which was the best in your opinion, and why?

Dead Space Extraction for me! Second only to the original Dead Space.

The Umbrella Chronicles all the way. It's an amazing game, that had hours and hours of content, lot of extras, collectibles all around, split-paths to take while playing, four campaigns plus several little Solo-missions, the accommodation for co-op all the way through, a whole remembrance of Resident Evil Zero, One, Two, Three and a nifty original campaing that linked RE3-4-5's Umbrella's arc, an interesting ranking system that always made you aim to destroy everything you see, grab everything you can and aim for critical shots and honestly, just a lot more bunch of awesome things for an on-rails lightgun shooting.

This game is brilliant and deserve all the praise it can get.

I would say Dead Space Extraction.Though RE chronicles is very good too.

House of the Dead Overkill was great. The ending was pretty disturbing, though

I only Played Dead Space Extraction once in a friend's house and I have to say, it was way better than I expected,it was fun, scary and it had a great atmosphere and graphics.

I'm gonna say The House of The Dead Overkill.
