Hey so quick questions/help here pc masters.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag has crashed a number of times on my computer. Forcing restarts and what not. Even with the settings turned ALL the way down to low.

Current PC stats:

Intel i5-6402P Quad Core 2.8GHz, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD, 24X DVD, AMD RX 480 4GB

Eventually I want to upgrade to the I7, add 8 more gb of RAM, and put in a SSD. But for now I feel like it should not be crashing while trying to run Black Flag. I understand maybe not with everything maxed due to the CPU and memory limitations... but even on low? Not really sure what's going on here.

On a side note, when it did run on ultra low (i was just testing to make sure it wasn't a faulty game that was crashing) it runs wonderfully at way above what looks like 60fps. As far as details go looks like the console version with textures, environment etc but smoother.

At very high (before it crashed) it also looked amazing but frame rate clearly very low.

Well it sounds like it is using the integrated instead of the AMD 480 since you should be able to max out Asscreed.

Just right click on your desktop, click "AMD Radeon Settings" and then

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sufj0cYdp64

Skip to 1:42 and follow the rest. Just make sure that when it goes to the application settings, you have Asscreed black flag selected

Click "Add Application" if its not in there

You shouldn't have any problems playing Black Flag. Like the post above me, I think you might be running the game with the integrated GPU. Try that and see if it works.

The power play menu is not available under my radeon addition settings. Under power it only says amd start now technology.

Then your only options are either a) Try and update to the latest driver and see if its there or b) Go into your bios and disable the integrated GPU. Make sure that your monitor is not connected to a port on your motherboard but instead, connected to the port on your RX 480
