Can you show me an example of main stream media sites going insane?

I've looked and I don't see it.  There's nothing on the front page of cnn or msnbc.  The huffington post, one of the most liberal sites, had this to say on the matter.

"Drumpf will become the third U.S. president in history to not take a salary, according to Snopes.com. Herbert Hoover and John F. Kennedy both donated their salaries to charity."

Hardly going insane...

They said whaaaaaaat? LIke oh em gee SJW are going insane, losing their marbles, demanding for his dead. Madness I tell ya.

The concept of the president leaving his private entreprises and taking a salary for the four year public office he will hold is an important tradition since the idea is that he will not be influenced by private interests. It´s reasonable that people object to him not following this tradition and I would hope people critisized JFK aswell for not accepting that payment. It´s mostly symbolic but many things you do as president are symbolic and still important.

Well he's a billionaire, so he doesn't really need the money. Anyways, I still don't get why SJW is an insult? How is it wrong to want to end racism, homophobia and sexism?

Because SJWs are typically associated with ending racism, homophobia and sexism of only certain groups of people by being racist/sexist to other groups of people.

It's a typical example of confirmation bias. Basically one hates SJW and pays attention only to the loud and crazy ones only to confirm what he already believed, i.e. that they're crazy, completely ignoring the vast majority of level headed people who don't think that calling Michelle Obama "an ape in heels" is acceptable and who believe that calling a gay guy a "f**" is wrong.

Enforcing illegal immigration laws? Securing borders? Oh no, those really are crazy stuff.

Building a 50 foot wall along over a thousand miles of territorial line to keep Mexicans from illegally immigrating back to Mexico is pretty crazy.

Does your article factor in illegal immigration? It requires a subscription and all that I can is just immigration, not illegal immigration.

So you're only paying attention to the ones that talk about the 2 examples you posted? Classic case of confirmation bias.

Sorry, I was able to see it without a subscription for some reason.  (I went back to the site and now I'm blocked like you were.  Interesting.)  Basically illegal immigration from Mexico to the US is actually smaller in the last year or two than illegal immigration from the US to Mexico (mostly of people who came here illegally in the first place).  Apparently they want to be with their families or some stupid thing like that.

Here's a different website talking about what looks like the same data at a glance.

"The decline in the number of Mexican immigrants residing in the U.S. has been mostly due to a drop of more than 1 million unauthorized immigrants from Mexico from a peak of 6.9 million in 2007 to an estimated 5.6 million in 2014"

There are still illegal immigrants coming in, of course, but not as many.  And many are leaving.

And it's also true that the Great Recession probably was a factor in declining illegal immigration, and now that we seem to be recovering, it may start to pick up again.  But the WSJ article (the blocked one) also mentioned improvements in Mexico that may keep people there (or not push them away).

This research by Pew says the number is at 11.3M as of 2013:

I think your figure is total vs. just Mexican.  The Mexicans are still more than half the total, but going down in both absolute and relative terms.

Look at Page 6 of your PDF:  they estimate that there are much fewer unauthorized immigrants who have been here only a short time compared with several years ago.  Most of the ones here now are veterans.  (Not military.)
