Second week comparation

Battlefield 1 ~ 158,000 ( 557,000 lifetime )
Infinite Warfare ~ 115,000 ( 443,000 lifetime )

Was Battlefield always strong than COD in the UK, or is it just Infinite Warfare failing to sell really well?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Black Ops 3 first week sales are higher than BF1's LTD. Infinite Warfare is failing.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

SO things are back to normal. But MS is fighting hard This gen is gonna be good again, as neither will let up with AAA game releases as they both need them GG Pro, this will be one killer Q4.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

xbox did great if you take into account a launch of a new console. but great for the ps4 pro. good stuff.

and ignore the £100 price drop for the XB1

It better demolish the Xone this month, since it lost 4 months in a row to it in an European country

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

The PS4 slim has had some great £249 bundles 500GB + BF1+Titanfall 2 was on GAME early in the week for a few days which then got replaced midweek by a 500GB BF1+Battlefront and 500GB Titanfall 2 + Battlefront at £239 each and the Cod bundle has been on sale all week for £219 and for the PS4 slim to only be up by 8% seems rather low to me.

40k first week sales for the Pro isn't good either, It's been building up Pre-Orders for 9 weeks now which would be 4.4k a week but obviously some of that 40k would of been non pre-orders so most likely 3-3.5k a week were from the pre-orders and the general consensus was that the Pro was taking away purchases from the PS4 slim since it's reveal for the past 9 weeks so even if it was taking in the region of 2k a week from the slim sales in the long run the Pro launch has only effectively pushed an extra 20-25k consoles.

This may change over the next few weeks as people may of been hesitant to jump in or feel that paying £349 now isn't the best deal when Black Friday is close by and Sony could just well bundle a free £40 game with it a week or 2 later.

Edit: Tesco already selling PS4 Pro + CoD: IW for £352

Congrats to Sony, but I'd expect a drop come next week due to stock issues in the UK.

With pro‘s launch PS4 sales only 44% higher than XB1'S, that's pathetic!
BTW, good to see BF1 > COD.

It is good to see that Forza Horizon 3 is charting pretty well, because its a good game. It even charted higher second week in Germany than Gears of War 4 first. GoW4 got only 12th in Germany and probably will fall off top 20 in November.

It doesnt look to hot for GoW4 at retail. It does ok in UK, but not great even with small price cut. Poorly in Germany and even in US it doesnt do that hot, Some online shops Gears of war is nowhere to be seen and Amazon with 10$ pricecut sits only at 60 place. Yearly has it on 91. I know its probably far fetched and It will probably do well in the end, but the looks of it nowhere near other gears games.

Its also good to see The Last Guardian charting on different places already.
