Well, here's a few hints.

#50 A divisive entry in a long running JRPG series. The director left the project during production of the game.
#49 A cult PS2 JRPG from Level 5.
#48 Sometimes there is a second game coming, sometimes not, at the moment there apparently is.

Pretty depressed with gaming right now, at least until FFXV releases. So my list hasn't changed all that much. But reminiscing about old fun games is always fun.

Moved a bit around, added a few games starting with my #50.

#50 A game released this year in a 31 year old franchise, it continues to sell well in Japan and China, but only has a cult following in the west.

This is going to be rather hard for me to really put up an accurate list as this is my first year doing this and I have never straight up wrote down my top 50 games across all platforms and generations before, I'm sure I will make big changes next year when I look back at the full list and think wtf is that in my top 50 for and realise I missed out on many games that should on been in there. Next years will be a better representation of my top 50 but for now lets see how it goes :D

Close. MT is a 29 year old franchise though. And I am not sure SMT IV:A was sold much at all in China :P.

The game I am speaking of actually was recently bundled with a home console in the Asia region.
