Why don't you wait a couple of months before deciding you know the entire first year lineup already?

This. Porting Smash 4 to the switch has no bearing on when Smash 5 is finished (if work has even begun on it), just like Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD had absolutely no bearing on when Breath of the Wild gets released. If SSB doesn't get ported after all, it's still going to be years before we see a new one no matter what. Something in the meantime is better than nothing.

This Smash port for Switch could include all Wii U and 3DS content and all DlC in one package, plus some new stages and characters. That would be great.
