Laura Kate Dale has been pretty well known for certain rumors regarding the Nintendo Switch. She has taken to twitter to release a rumor that a Super Smash Bros. port is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Here are the tweets:

I swear a good percentage of my posts on my website are due to rumors from Laura Kate Dale and Emily Rogers lol! I hope this rumor is true and I hope it is not available at launch but available sometime in the summer or holiday season. I'll go broke if its at launch plus they need momentum going further through the year. Please Nintendo, NO DROUGHT!

This is most likely summer or early fall title, probably is not holliday title.
Also just imagine Switch 1st year, new 3D Mario and new 3D Zelda, ports/remasters of MK8, Splatoon and Smash Bros 4, definatly some more new games, very possible Pokemon in holiday season...Switch will have killer 1st year. :)

OH MY GOD! Okay so Zelda and Mario Kart at launch. Splatoon in the summer. Smash in the Fall. 3D Mario in the holiday season. THAT! IS! INSANE!
Plus third parties and other first parties maybe.
Seems pretty tough to port if Nintendo can't even do that for their own games at launch.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Maybe, but I was more thinking about Zelda and new 3D Mario at launch, while MK8, Splatoon and Smash would be released on around every two months after Switch launch, for holiday season new Pokemon and something else.

It most likely they dont want to launch console with ports but with new games instead.

I kind of want 3D Mario at launch but I think it should be saved for the holiday season to be a big hit. Plus I need to play some more splatoon and mario kart. I did not play them too much on my Wii U.
I am not going to lie, but come to think of it, a Donkey Kong Country port sounds lit af on the Switch!
Many speculated this but hey good news is good news still.
