Now that I think about it, why did democrats pick Hillary to go against Trump? I mean, what a terrible candidate. If it was Bernie that was going against trump I think the anyone but Trump movement could have given them the edge over this tight race. With Bernie in the front while Hillary was backing him, and with all these Donald and groping accusations that came out. He would have won it. //Opinion.//

Because the democrats are a right wing party and didn`t want a left wing candidate?

Damn you're right. Plus people were afraid of running against her.

No, Democrats are left wing.  Bernie is far left.  The problem was that if Bernie couldn't even win the majority of the Democratic party to his side, he had no chance in the Presidential race as 90% of Republicans and undecideds would vote against him.  He would have needed a very strongly united Democratic party to win.

But people still calling Hillary supporterts "leftists" even when Hillary Clinton is not even close to be left wing.

Weird from a european perspective.

That.... actually doesn`t sound so bad!

Even if it sounds weird, over the last decade I've been able to call every election I was aware of (this is not a joke) everywhere if I am made aware of it before it takes place. As odd as it might sound, they refuse to acknowledge everything I hear or even bear it in mind. Sure, let's not trust the guy who ripped his head apart studying the history and internal politics of different countries since he was given a book dealing with them, following elections from polls to the streets, who's reviewed platforms ad nauseum and who somehow crammed 8 years of a JD into three!

What could possibly go wrong?!

What is Trump plans for healthcare? Are you guys gonna get free medicine now? lol

Okay, I think I'm just going to focus on the Pokemo Sun/Moon leaks and wait for Breath of the Wild now... Dont you fucking delay that past April for Wii U Nintendo!

Yeah, I'm going to move on and focus on some other things. I want to watch Doctor Strange. I heard great things about it.

Germany has enough problems itself to worry about but instead they point with their finger at all the problems the US has to distract their citizen from their own issues and to look good in comparsion, smh.

I am not aware of any immediate danger or unsurmountable problems to our country. In fact it's so boring that I don't even have to vote here because all of our canditates boring reasonable people.

And I'm not pointing or laughing at the problems in the US. I'm more devastated and shocked because every time I think it can't get worse, it does.

What about our broken education system? What about our aging and declining population which proves to have severe consequences on the economy in the future? What about our Immigrant crisis? What about coruption in OUR government? What about the fact that Germany is still one of the few industialized countries left that officially do not approve of Gay marriage? What about our terribly low annual GDP growth?
Instead the German media keeps on reporting on how ''dumb'' Americans are of how they run their country. pathetic.

Feels like the results of the election are getting dragged out because biased media want to cling to the last straw. States are confirmed quickly for Clinton, but for Trump they want to make damn sure that it doesn't get confirmed before 100% are reported.

Well, you want to be sure, don't you?

The biggest thing he has brought up that I recall is removing the absolutely stupid restriction where you can't buy medical insurance across state lines, which completely ruins competition.  And with Obamacare has caused a number of insurance companies to selectively flee states where it's a headache to do business.  My state has one - count em, one - major health insurance company in it.
