Forums - Movies & TV - How does Marvel incorporate Doctor Strange into the Marvel film Universe?

Did you watch the 2 extra credit scenes? :)

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Once Thanos gets the Infinity Gauntlet and Stones going to need Doctor Strange, Vision, and all the rest and still don't have much of a chance.

I actually liked that Strange did not overpower the opposition, but rather used magic in a fun way to essentially annoy them into defeat.

If the MCU has anything remotely to do with the Infinity Wars as in the comics, EVERY character is needed to do battle with Thanos.

The Sorcerer Supreme is often the go-to guy for all sorts of problems of a mystical nature; could see him getting involved in Ragnarok somehow, or mentoring Scarlet Witch, that sort of thing.

well I know how they are going to do it, just that he is too powerful.

That was the best part of the INFINITY GAUTLET comics: dozens of heroes and most of them just spent their time complaining that there was nothing they could do to help. Even Daredevil appear just to save a kid from a fire and then go back to mopping his tears.

Warlock, Silver surfer and Dr. Strange were the real main heroes in that comic, but I guess they will have to change it around.

Thanos was in 80% of the comic, I guess they will have to change his CGI mug somehow, cause to watch a CGI puppet for 2 hours will be weird.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I mean the guy can go to other dimensions. He can Inception an entire city on you! With all these characters the big conclusion to the Marvel universe is going to need to be 5 hours long to give it all justice. What can vision do against someone like that, or even hulk? Tony could finally figure out the scientific power of that stone that we see in all the movies and find a way to harness it I guess. Still, just like vision being taken out so easily in Cap 3, it all seems too powerful. What am I missing?

In the Dr. Strange comics he only fights spiritual threats, like small g gods, archdemons, extradimensional threats and sometimes other sorcerers.

Without mutants, he would be one of the most powerful people in the MCU. In the MU he is too because of his knowledge and how magic works there but they will (like the seem to be doing with many) tone down his power because the MCU is a weak reality compared to many.

Hmm, pie.
