Funny, I expected COD to be much lower.

So they got you by the balls to buy this game huh ?

It's genius, really. Sucker a lot of people into buying a shit CoD just because it includes a remaster of a game from when CoD was actually good. Not only that, but they buy it at a higher price too.

Except its not a shit cod.

TF2 and BF1 are truely great shooters, while COD is still the same old recipe

How is COD IW the same old? Looks to me that they strayed as far from their core concept as possible while TF2 and BF1 is the same old gameplay.

Weren't the most complaints against COD IW on the count of how different it is?

doesn't matter what's the reason why COD sucks, the important part is that it sucks ;)

I was a huge fan of COD for several years; COD4, MW2, Black Ops, MW3, Black Ops 2, then it finally started getting old and I started getting sick of it. I loved the original Titanfall (got all the way to 10th gen), dabbled in Battlefield here and there and always enjoyed them.

Coming into this fall, Titanfall 2 had me the most hyped. I played the BF1 beta, it wasn't quite pulling me in, even bought the full game and it's just not for me. Even gave the Infinite Warfare beta a shot and it just feels tired and repetitive. Titanfall 2 has absolutely delivered for me. It's incredibly fun, if you complained about lack of unlocks and customization, well, Titanfall 2 has you covered. There are numerous factions to rank up, your weapon, your secondary, 6 titans that all rank up and "regen." I always loved the dynamic between Pilot vs Titan and it still feels amazing. With the addition of 6 Titans, all with different abilities and weaponry, numerous new Pilot "Boosts" like Sentry Guns, etc., it's added an entirely new and exciting depth to the MP matches. Not to mention the Titan battery mechanic, which I feel was panned initially, but now I've learned to appreciate it as yet another interesting dynamic to the game.

Respawn has also done such an amazing job with scoring and ranking as well this time. I can only comment on Amped Hardpoint, Attrition, and Bounty Hunt, but your score and performance truly is based on playing the objective. Your deaths are not shown at all on the Scoreboard. And the ranking is done by merits. Every 10 merits is a level. You get 1 merit for winning, 1 for completing a match, then every game type has a "Good Performance" metric that will gain you a 3rd merit if you fulfill the challenge for that gametype. Attrition is kill 3 pilots in a row without dying, Amped Hardpoint is get 1000 Assault points or 500 Defense points. Then you get merits for anything additional that you level up. For example, Factions, primary, secondary, Titans, Titan primary, everything continually ranks up and each rank nabs you another merit. I'm level 30 2nd gen and it doesn't feel like a grind at all. The progression is very fluid and constant.

I can't recommend Titanfall 2 enough for a fun, and rewarding multiplayer experience if you're tired of the ol' COD formula.

Cod4 remastered is what made IW the most appealing title for me and many others. So it's BF1 and IW for me.

EA should have released titanfall next March and maybe then it wouldn't have been a sales flop.

No they offered a more compelling product to me than its titanfall rival.  after playing it I love :

Cod4 campaign

Cod4 online

IW zombies

IW campaign

Haven't tried the IW multiplayer yet.

I can't speak for everyone but IW is going to sell a crazy amount more then titanfall.  it really had no business releasing against the titans BF and cod.

The problem with the remaster is it's quick nostalgia trip. Nothing more. There will be no longevity whatsoever. I absolutely loved COD4. The game that started it all for me. 10th Prestige, hundreds of hours. I have zero interest to play it because it will be a total "been there, done that" feeling. I have no desire to play it.

I find the remaster curious. I'm not really sure who it appeals to. Most people that I know that loved it back then, have moved on to other games and they're certainly not going to pay $80 to play it. Call of Duty fans are all about the new one. How could you be a "current" COD fan and choose to play and rank up MWR when you have Infinite Warfare?

I'm seriously shocked that CoD is 81, based on the Beta I was expecting high 60s, maybe 70 or 71 if they're lucky. The MP Beta was straight up trash and the MP still is.
As a CoD fanboy who's played every single CoD since MW2 I can feel that I can fairly say that 81 is WAYYYYYYYYYY too high for Infinite Warfare.

Yet people eat it up regardless. -_-

They came in clutch with the SP and it has zombies which are always fun.
