Resident Evil 4 is my favourite game of all time and the Wii Edition is the ideal version in my book, but I'm since its a port from the previous gen, I'm gonna disqualify it.

Therefore, Xenoblade takes the cake for me. From its unforgettable world, to its superb soundtrack, to its engaging battle system, to its epic story, it's a true classic and one of the finest games of the 7th generation.

Xenoblade Chronicles would win for me even if we did include the Mario Galaxy games. For that matter, the two Zelda games on Wii would be ahead of the Galaxy games, too. Galaxy 1 would probably be in my top 5 though, along with The Last Story.

That's a good call. I'd rank RE4 just ahead of XC, but the fact that it's a port kind of undermines its candidacy.

Both games are in my personal top ten :)

Xenobalde for sure. Was the first of only two new JRPGs from last gen that I think are worthy of being considered classics in the genre (the other being the very underrated Ni No Kuni).
