All on VG chartz knows that Nintendo have talked about more formfactors.. How they see NS as a platform.. And how they would like to be more like apples ecosystem

With Nintendos choice of Nvidia and Tegra.. Things may not be as we had expected.. Mayby its not Nintendo that will make them

To show what I mean.. I will use SmartTV's as examble

Think about a SmartTV powered with a Nintendo Switch compitabel Nvidia chip.. So the TV itself could deliver the complete "docked Switch experince" (if there was a controller included)

Imagine New super mario bros U (or other) games preinstallet.. Some Zelda BOW, Mario 3d, Ubisoft, Capcom.. what ever demos.. And all the "Switch" apps (that dont use the portable functions) just one clic at a icon away.

Would that make sense for TV manufactors.. Nvidia.. 3. part game makers and Nintendo?

TV manufactors do not earn any from gaming.. If they used a Nintendo compatible Nvidia chip to power theire TV.. They could get... I dont know.. but just lets say 10%.. 10% of any game sold through "N Channel" on that TV

I would suspect that they would have to pay a litle more when making the TV.. (Dedicated memory.. NFC and so) and follow some rules like including a Nintendo Joypad.. and mayby not alowing other (3 part) gamming solutions on that TV.. But the point is.. instant income from gaming.. Money they never saw before

Nvidia can be crusial part of first real attemt to make a TV gaming solution for the "smartphone gamers" with Nintendo as partner.
And same time they have a good sales argument when selling Tegra.. "If you instal "N Channel" you get (lets say) 10% of any game sold"

3. party game makers like to sell games.. And if Nvidia/Nintendo made it posible that games made for Switch.. also could be sold to people without a console.. I dont think they would mind

Nintendo earn money on games.. Not consoles.. So if a tv gave the right "Nintendo experience" (meaning joystik and perfect running the games) Why should they have anything against also having a much bigger marked to sell games to. And it would be free "advertising" for thiere dedikated hardware

I think Nintendo would love this.. and I think Nvidia would to.. But not only them..

Companys like Samsung earns nothing on games sold on android.. This way they can have a perfect game solution and earn money same time.. And mayby keep google out of theire TV's

Nintendo and Nvidia are both stubborn and independent. I kind of doubt such a far-reaching partnership.

Tegra's designed for driverless cars. Replace home TV with the car TV and that would be perfect.

Parent's could track their kids being picked up from school in the MarioKar, catching Pokemon and finishing up at the Nintendo theme park.

What parent wouldn't be happy to let Nintendo raise their kids for them full-time?

No longer a babysit needed:

"Honey, Do you think the kids are okay?"

"I'm sure they are on the street playing with the jumping Nintendo-Car."

Myby we see that... Nvidia powered cars that can connetc to Nintendo Network..

But I used TV's in this topic.. (200-300 million new tv's sold every year)

Can you see that TV manufactors can include "N channel" with allmost no extra cost (if they use tegra as the smart tv "brain")?  And that way earn money on games.. money they dont see any penny of now.

How Nvidia and Nintendo combined can enter a complete untapped marked.. The "we dont own a console.. but have tried to play games on phones" marked?

I'm curious to see how this partnership performs.
