So I just downloaded Brutal DOOM on PC and I must say, for a Mod, it’s up there for one of the best games I’ve played this year.

I love the mixture of Modern Doom mixed with Retro Doom visuals. The violence, gore and fast paced action plus those Shot-Gun sound effects are just simply amazing.

Those who have played it, what are your thoughts?

This game is great and deserves attention. I cant stop playing it. WIshing for a Steam release if I.D/Bethesda allows it.

One of the best mods ever created. But I still prefer vanilla Doom over BD

Vanilla Doom is hard to beat. I find it hard to play after playing BD though. Either way there both great.

Why isit hard to beat? BD in terms of difficulty is harder because it has some insane difficulty levels added where demons move a lot faster and you get tons of damage

Misunderstanding. Im referring to BD being a better game than Vanilla Doom. Difficulty wise BD is insanely hard. It is so much easier to die on it.

Brutal Doom proves that Doom was so damn good that only needs an upgrade to be more fun than almost every modern shooter. Maybe the most fun mod I played.

I agree, the game just proves how good Doom was back in the day. It packs such an addictive attitude. Hoping who ever made this mod continues to bring us more classics like BD.
