Huh, I hadn't thought about that. Neat if true, it would be interesting to see if it would also function as a wireless keyboard for online browsing and gaming.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

And here I am still wondering if it will have Bluetooth.

I don't think Nintendo would ever go that much far. But that could be great coupled with a proper competitive FPS game or with an RTS game.

Why not? Making a keyboard is not that complicated. Even if it's not used for gaming, it's still an useful add-on for a tablet.

if they decide to stick to android, this could become useful otherwise it's useless.

So stuff like this is interesting because I think when kimishima let slip out that they have more planned for Switch to reveal. That you can call them accessories or maybe add on hardware! Kind of speaks to the modular design of the system and that they maybe going for the Swiss army knives of devices here.

Nintendo could make a keyboard that slides in where the joy-con's go..... havnt thought about that.

If the joy-con batteries hook up to the tablet as well and share, you could put a big battery in the keyboard, and have it work like a small laptop.

Never felt the need to use a physical keyboard on a tablet.
