Yes. My topic was a bit of an overreaction. Amazon is the best place to shop online. I just need to be more cautious when ordering certain items like this limited edition.

Do you think it could've been the deliverer that ruined your package? I've see those videos of those mailmen that just throws box and not give a crap about other people's order packages.

But ya still sorry to hear, I would be very upset as well if I ordered anything (especially a collectors edition game) and the box was messed up like that.

It could be either.  I guess I'm just used to NIS America's packaging so I expected something similar.

Heh, Angry Joe just put up a video warning against preordering games from Amazon. Amazon's great, but apparently not perfect.

I will rarely order a limited edition from Amazon nowadays because they do not know how to properly package anything cardboard. I have had several damaged games from them and have left comments and packaging feedback on everything yet it never improves so I try to avoid them mostly. Sure I've had problems with other companies but in my experience, Amazon is the worst.

That could be any place of business in the world, even retail. When I managed an electronics section at Walmart it was amazing how beaten down and busted some of the boxes of product looked coming off the truck. Sometimes we'd get TV's with boxes so beaten up customers would refuse to buy them, even though the TV's worked fine.

I can't relate. Why do you care if outside box is a little bent?

To each his own. But look at it like this. If you walked into a store and were to buy an item at full price, you probably want to buy the one that's in the best condition depending upon the product itself. In regards to the game, in my eyes it's a collectible, and taking pride in collecting video games, I would like to display such items and will look better when it's in near-perfect condition.

Amazon should take it back without giving you issues. I once ordered a game that came empty (box was opened). They took it back no questions asked.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Yeah thats always the risk with online shopping. Did it come in a parcel or a box? I wish you could select what type of packaging things are shipped in. Maybe try ordering as a gift? (to yourself) it might get better packaging.

Was the boxed it shipped in damaged?

No. This is why you do not buy physical.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
