So like most movies that came out this year? Seriously. It's flop after a flop after a bomb.

Too many did insanely bad to the point that I think the movie industry is in big trouble. There are so many well done tv shows on cable that people are possibly less interested in movies. They either have to adjust their budgets and salaries of A list actors or stop making so many.

The biggest issue ihave with Cruise flicks is Cruise. I've watched films of his where it feels like he is posing more than acting.

It's not consistent enough to be all his films, but enough to not want to risk spending good money at a cinema incase it is.

Having said that, I enjoyed the first JR, I'll watch it on Netflix when it gets there. Until then, I'm going to try get through a couple of seasons on the original MI series.

I'm thinking a bit over 80 million overseas is more realistic.

I'm thinking it will make a bit more then 60 million domestically and 80 million overseas which isn't bad but I'm thinking they where expecting it to at least make a bit more then $200 million world wide.  That being said Tom Cruise is still in the good graces of Paramount and I'm pretty sure he still will appear in some more Paramount Pictures, for a while the relationship was somewhat rough.

Seems to me like the overseas box office will carry it to modest profitability. But it also seems equally clear that Tom Cruise is not as bankable as he once was.

Indeed I have a lot of doubt about the box office pulling power of movie stars. Some of the biggest movies of all time don't have a single A-list celebrity in them. I think an A-list celebrity can help sometimes, but in general I think the financial benefit of their presence in a movie is overstated.

"because you guys watch anything."

Lol! I'd rather call it "because you guys don't give a s**t about critics and just want to be entertained."

Well it looks like it will not get to the $60 million mark domestically its legs are terrible and its already on its discount theater run on the flip side it might actually make it to the $100 million mark overseas its almost at the $90 million dollar mark.

Watched the movie. It felt very generic and by the end of it, the ending was so cliche that one guy in the theater busted out laughing.

The movie was terrible in my opinion. One of the worst I've seen all year.
