I have a US psn account and buy my cards on amazon just to take advantage of the cheaper prices (exchange difference $US to €). At least there the digital codes always cost 1 cent less than the card value. As in a $50 will actually cost $49.99, so yeah... if you really wanted to save any money you wouldn't be buying in € anyway :)

But aren't the cards region locked?

why you create an account for the region.

Basixally create an US PSN account....  buy your stuff on there. you can still play them on any other account you have on your PS4.

It would be smart to do this now that the console and ur account is technically still new.

There is a huge German population that plays neverwinter on ps4. (It doesn't require ps+).

No matter what, you NEED to rent or buy TLOUR. That game is just awesome....

walsufnir, what was your platform of choice before this? Were you still stuck in last generation lol?

Shame about the game
Enjoy the rest tho

Worst mistake ever. (j/k)

Congrats.

Yep. I was still rocking a 360!

Yup, some of the F2P games are actually pretty good. If you are into heroes, DCUO is fun and has a pretty good story too.

Warframe is badass and you can play with friends.

Paragon is pretty fun although still in beta.

Tomorrow Children is really good fun I've been told and soon we are getting Let it Die which has got tons of praise.

I know you don't want to pay for online, but one of the best next gen experiences is Destiny. You can pick up Destiny collection for £25 and it has so much content in sp, co-op and mp, it is unmatched. I cannot recommend the game enough especially if you like mp, co-op, rpg elements and need a game that will entertain you for more than a month or two.

Hi guys.

Although some might not believe me, I bought a PS4 yesterday (or better, my wife bought me).

We were at a local electronics store to get my mother a new TV and we stumbled through the games section afterwards and they had an offer including a

- PS4 slim (500g)

- Second controller (white)

- Battlefield 1

for 299€ which was too good of a deal. The reason we went with PS4 was that it was cheaper than the bone deals and there a "sing and dance"-games my girlfriend likes.

You are telling me that your wife bought you a PS4. Then you will be playing the PS4 with your girlfriend? Underlying agendas up in here!

I was LITERALLY just about to wuote this like so no one else saw this lol!!!

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Somewhat surprising Op but congrats nonetheless. And yes, the Ps4 wifi card is terrible from my experience. What's more, Battlefield in particular has a long install time but most games are ready to go quite quickly on initial install (couple minutes at worst generally).

And yeah. The PSN speeds are way better than people like to imply. I download about 9 megabytes a second which, on a 75mbit connection is maxing out.
