New quarterly results are out, SFV is now at 1.9 million. Bear in mind they expected 2 million to be hit by March of 2016, LOL. So much for legs.

This will be my last bump, feels like beating a dead horse at this point. Hope Capcom learns from this.

SFV sucked, plain and simple. The Arcade Edition is what it should have been, in other words it released 2 years too soon.

Yeah I tried to like it but more often than not I was thinking "I'd rather play Ultra Street Fighter IV instead"

Signature goes here!

Deserved to flop, not only for the incredibly lazy lack of content, but also because they refused to put Poison as a fighter.

Sorry, but unless they redeem themselves with SFVI, if it ever happens, I just hope Capcom is done with this franchise for good. There are plenty of alternatives to it.

So play those. Why does CAPCOM need to be done with Street Fighter?

I hated how often the servers would disconnect, becasue when it did, no matter what you were doing, it'd boot you back to the main menu.

I actually wonder what I was thinking when typing that one particular post. Not sure why I'd call for the dead of Street Fighter when I'd rather have Monster Hunter being killed. Goes without saying, I disagree with myself. But still, fuck Street Fighter V for not including Poison.

This is not much better. Your in a constant of hyberbole . I cant tell if the poison thing is suppose to be running joke or not, but Poison has very minute history with SF so her exclusive is not surprising. I dont believe Poison and the rest of the FF crew were intended to be staples just nods/fanservice.

My post could have been very well a joke back then because I was joking again here. I am prone of being hyperbolic though, but I absolutely don't remember why I posted that original post the way I did.

I don't get some of these responses.
KI was mentioned, 1 it was released even worse than SFV, and it did fine overall. It was because it was a exclusive and first fighter on the Xbox one. They didn't do anything differently. Also I don't even call that game a success. It lasted, but no one really mentions it or anything. SFV is good, gameplay wise. It did launch with only these 10 minute stories for I believe 16 characters, practice, demo, pvpvs only, trials and survival for offline then the usual online modes. But lets be honest. The game didn't have that much at launch but, but people have and still are blowing the issues out like it's more than it is.
2, owning the base game alone you now have more content than ANY first release mainline street fighter game and apart from 4 more than any second release. You've got the first actually story mode, plus character stories. You'll be getting what sounds to be the most dedicated arcade mode in the mainline games when it releases next year for free. By doing the games basics you'll get enough fight money to get Atleast a next 4ish or so characters. Yeah, fm is a problem when you don't get much possibility to get, but all modes, updates etc are free. Only thing you need fm or money for is extra costumes and stages. Characters you can choose how to deal with it the way you want. I personally think people go way overboard the moment a company does something that's not ideal. The game was made with long term in mind. Look at how much it's improved. At launch I only did the stories and didn't touch until characters released to try them. Now I actually have things to do, and the game is great. Even better next year. Also Mk shouldn't be compared since it started last Gen. Though I agree overall. But it would compare to sfiv not 5.
