Even before the final announcement I came by a really interesting concept created by a Fan, that multiple differents kinds of joy cons could be available.

Seems like a very nice concept, even if nintendo does not officaly support this, I see Chinese Joy Cons all over around.

This is bound to happend.
Its also why they cant make a XL version or a Mini version of the Switch.

That gun attachment + Wiimote like motion controlls = the best of the Wii is back.

Just give us another RE4 like game with it.

According to the President, the Switch will have a lot of accessories, maybe the are sticking with things like this.

A non mandatory accessory would not prohibit the creation for an XL or Mini. An XL could easily be made compatible, I don't see why it wouldn't? 

A mini would be designed for people specifically looking for a dedicated portable, anyone wanting to play with these accessories would just buy a standard Switch or XL. 

I do recall seeing this before I stopped caring about rumours, but this is almost guaranteed to happen with the Switch.. maybe you need to buy a Joycon that has NFC for amiibos :p

Nintendo president did say that there would be a lot more Hardware accessories in previous consoles.

We need less accessories. Not more. It's just going to be more add on gimmicks that will drive away core gamers.

well the moment that showed us that controller on the left with a broken dpad it was only logical that it would happen.

The broken dpad is for multiplayer. people will want a proper dpad for fighters.

Much better than amiibo for sure. I like this a lot.

I just wish the wii u pro controller worked with the Switch. It's such a good controller.

This would just be annoying, redundant, and the very definition of a gimmick. I already had a lengthy rant about this before though, but the only thing this is good for is having to carry around even more crap with the potential to lose half, needing a backpack just to take this system with you, defeating the purpose of portability even moreso. I also don't need a billion different controller parts to play my games. I wouldn't get a single one, and if a game required one of these things, tough luck, no sale.
