So, if I buy both the KH 2.8 and the freshly announced KH Final Mix with 1.5 and 2.5 and more, IN WHAT ORDER SHOULD I PLAY THESE GAMES?? Doesnt both packages contain several games? PLEASE HELP!

There really isn't anything confusing:

Basically both HD remaster packages contain:

-main game

-handheld game

-cutscene movie of a smaller handheld game

In 2.8 it's:

-handheld game is main game

-prologue to KH3 called 0.2 in Unreal Engine 4

-cutscene movie

Around the Network

Chronologically:
Kingdom Hearts X Backcover (Cutscenes from 2.8)
Birth By Sleep: Final Mix
A Fragmentary Passage
Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix
Re: Chain of Memories
358/2 Days (Cutscenes from 1.5)
Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix
Re: Coded (Cutscenes from 2.5)
Dream Drop Distance

Release:

I like what you're saying, and it's making me realize that i need to go back and play 1.5 and 2.5 straight through with no breaks haha cuz it's just so much. not sure how to gray out my text, so **SPOILER ALERT** i didn't like the start of KH2 dealing with roxas because it was obvious he was sora's nobody based off his name, but didnt look him. had BBS come first, it would have made alot of sense, and the heart that joined ventus would have been obviously clear come KH1, making the nobody of sora very clear come KH2. trust me, i like digging into mysteries and deep stories as much as the next, but since ventus, sora and roxas are presented as main characters in the KH series, this is a convultion for no reason. Aqua, terra, xenhoart, riku and everyone else i think would have been fine to be deep plot lines as they are. for example, i thought it was cool in BBS how kairi and riku became the characters they are, but seeing how KH is spread over 6 games (not couting mobile) with essentailly 3 main characters all tied together but not in order, is going to be possibly fine for the new comers of the series, but is kinda to much for us who have been there from the beginning, i feel like i need to start the series over again, or watch one of those long youtube videos to 100& understand everything correctly.

But i'm just being a diva , I'm this way about alot of things I read and watch, KH is still one of my top 3 franchises in gaming.

Well, I was also wondering about why Roxas looked that way at first, before finishing KH2. But correct me if I'm wrong, by the end of KH 2, I believe we no longer had no reason to wonder about why Roxas looked the way he did.
What I mean by that is, it wasn't until BBS that we first saw what any of the Order XIII members looked like before they became Nobodies. And learned that they looked exactly the same. But in Kingdom Hearts 2, we only see what two Nobodies originally looked like, when we find out that Roxas and Namine are the Nobodies of Sora and Kairi. And both of them look different than their original. So at this point in the story, we would presume that all Nobodies probably look different from their originals, because both Roxas and Namine did.
Or am I missing something?

It's possible that Square hadn't thought of the idea that Nobodies generally look the same as their original until they made BBS
.

that's the thing, it's been 10 years since i played that game, i vaugley remember the ending, and i havent replayed it yet in the 2.5 remix. I need to do a serious play through again.
