So, another Nintendo console for Nintendo games, par for the course I guess.

It might be again. We'll see what they really got from Bethesda next year. I wonder what Bethesda said about this rumored info.

That's the most important question surrounding the NS at the moment.

I don't expect much Bethesda support for NS.

There's a reason why they showed Skyrim (a 5-year-old game first released on the PS3/360) and not a "real" current gen like Fallout 4.

I love how the concept of the Switch seems to create more problems than it solves. Anyway I don't really care about this particular thing, one because I'm taking a wait and see approach with this console and two because I wouldn't really be affected by this issue if it were true since I hardly ever buy digital things.

And about the multiple discs debate; I'd imagine if it's ever needed on PS4 or XBox, it would be like it was on PC. Not really an issue. I have plenty of games that used two to four CD's or DVD's. You'd use all discs once to install everything, and afterwards only ever use Disc 1 to actually play it. That said cartridges still > discs.

No offense but I find it ridiculous how a game as big as Xenoblade chronicles X is only 40 GB while a game like Call of Duty somehow manages to go over the 100 GB line.

My 64 gb SD card does a lot for me. I have downloaded countless amounts of eshop and retail games. Nintendo games rarely exceed 10 GB, let alone 20.

XCX is not a graphically impresive game, that's why. Like at all. It uses a lot of tricks to pull off the scale that it does. CoD uses a lot more assets of much higher quality than XCX does by a mile.

Why only 128gb? It's 2016...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Welp... considering games are consistently 50GB in size and patches/DLC are getting bigger and bigger, I guess Nintendo expects people to go out and buy external HDD's

That's assuming this rumor is accurate, which seems likely imo.

Too bad the rumor also says that the Switch won't support external HDD's... :P

Welp.... lets hope this rumor is wrong then no way will 128gb be enough for todays games.

Of course that won't support external hard drives. How are you going to carry your hard drive with you everywhere you go? How would it switch from hard drive to portable mode?

Still don't see how any of this is a bad thing. Carts make it easy to easy to not go digital.
