What makes you think we need disks anymore?

If Cartridges/cards get cheap enough... Im all for doing away with discs.

Me too but Sony isn't. Be a long time before sd cards are as cheap as disks.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

GTA VI was never going to be on Switch anyway, so who cares how big it is.

Not good enough, I have 200GB in my phone atm, it needs to support up to 2TB, which is the max allowed on the format.

You know, I thought about it for a few minutes and realized that I only download games because I hate optical drive latency, which is not an issue with these gamecards, and you can share games super easy with other people that way too, so I'd only need space for saves/patches/expansions and just have a pouch for the cards like the old days if I have to travel with it. So NM lol.

No offense but I find it ridiculous how a game as big as Xenoblade chronicles X is only 40 GB while a game like Call of Duty somehow manages to go over the 100 GB line.

My 64 gb SD card does a lot for me. I have downloaded countless amounts of eshop and retail games. Nintendo games rarely exceed 10 GB, let alone 20.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

So what does MS/Sony do when games get that big? 6 disks or a cartridge?

Poor Sony. No more physical media format to leverage the console off.

Hello time traveler from the early 2000's, welcome to 2016, I hope you had a nice journey through space-time. :)

So, another Nintendo console for Nintendo games, par for the course I guess.

It might be again. We'll see what they really got from Bethesda next year. I wonder what Bethesda said about this rumored info.

It doesnt look like much, but it ll be enough if you mainly buy physical.

Not for third party games it won't, DLC+Patches will eat that space up in no time...

My PS4 has 2TB HDD and half already used,a lot of games with 10GB~20GB patches ¬¬

I love how "Report" is now synonymous with "Rumor".
