That is good. But it needs a big hard drive as well cause today developers are too lazy to finish their games and test them: they ship it, we see the game is broken and them they pach it with 5 GB updates

64 Gb Flash storage + 128 Micro SD card is fine.
As long as physical copies of games dont install on the space you do have.
It doesnt look like much, but it ll be enough if you mainly buy physical.

Thats 3rd party... most of which probably wont launch many games on the Switch.
Nintendo doesnt usually launch broken games, that require huge patch's to fix things.
If the NS is to be on par with PS4/XB1 then I have a feeling that might not be enough.

Not for third party games it won't, DLC+Patches will eat that space up in no time...
Ka-pi96 said: 128GB is like... nothing, though. If it`s going to have any decent 3rd party support it`s going to need a whole lot more storage space than that. Nintendo may be willing to minimise the size of their games to keep within the limits of the system, but I doubt 3rd parties would. Wasn`t the latest COD (including the Modern Warfare remaster) like 120GB? |

Pretty sure that game isnt going to be on the switch.

This is the price of going for a hybrid (tablet) console.
It wont fit a normal hard disk drive in there.
Those 3rd party that make games those sizes just wont be avalible on the Switch.

Which is why I think the dock should have contained a HDD slot, so for those big games that really need the space you'd only be able to play them while docked as a home console, and as Nintendo likes to say the Switch IS a home console... I hope there is HDD support in some form even if it's not integrated with the dock.

So this is it, max storage on the Switch is 64Gb + 128GB MicroSD.
Will the base hold more space? Like, you can have up to 128gb on an SD on the tablet, and another 128gb (or even an regular hard drive) connected to the base?
