So they leaks turned out to be real. Love all the starters and their types. Alolan persian is meh like pretty much every other alolan forms (with a few exceptions)

Hopefull those exceptions include Vulpix and Ninetales ;)

...which were all basically leaked :p

Ash/Red looks pretty weird in his Alohan form D:

Pls don't compare the really cool Red with that looser :P

I didn't watch the video at the time so I didn't know who he was, but he still looks really weird D:

Yes I also like alolan sandslash and sandshrew.

Well, I'm glad the fire cat isn't a fighter at least. Was getting tired of all the fire/fighting starters.

Also, this trailer has got me hyped to the max. Can't waaaaait to play this.

Litten>>>>all

Grass/Ghost is kind of a bad typing and Popplio's final evo's exclusive move is kinda pointless.

Grass/Ghost is one of the best possible combinations for Grass, so what I think you mean to say is that Grass is kind of a bad type lel. I do think that typing is solid in general though, 5 weaknesses but 4 resistances and 2 immunitys, aswell as atleast neutral STAB against all types. I unfortunately have to agree that Popplio's signature sucks hard, but I will not agree that Litten is the best, infact I still think it's the worst!

I know that Grass/Ghost is one of the best combinations for grass types  (well actually, not really: grass/poison, grass/steel, grass/water and grass/fighting are all far better and, despite not beeing currently available, Grass/Fire is very good too ) but yeah, it's not Ghost's fault, still I would have liked to see a grass/flying pokémon try to be competitive. Popplio's signature move is probably targeted for double battles but it's kinda pointless, since it likely has a high base power it can deal high damages to most physical attackers who don't have great defenses and could likely be weak to the move itself if they are Ground or Rock types...

Wait, so you knew that yet still said Grass/Ghost is bad, interesting! Also I said one of the best, not the best, so I think that's still accurate even if what you say is true, though I don't agree that those combos are far better, just different pro's and cons mostly. I'm not a fan of having a double weakness on top of many other weaknesses so I'd rather have Grass/Ghost than Grass/Fighting for instance.

Happy with all of the starters surprisingly. Rowlet ending up Grass/Ghost is a nice touch, totally unexpected. I was dead-set anti-Litten's line thanks to wrestling cat, but they've characterised it so well, Fire/Dark, and the "Heel Pokemon", just great. Popplio's final evo looks great to me as well, I'm just enjoying how salty everyone is that it's more feminine than they're used to. I'll probably grab Popplio, hated it at first but it's grown on me.
