New PS4 hardware bundles announced for Europe

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) has announced a series of new PlayStation 4 bundles for sale in PAL regions, featuring some of the system’s biggest games to date including Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Each bundle features a 1TB PS4 console and a copy of Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed action-adventure sequel, although there’s three flavors on offer, each one offering two additional titles.
The first one offers Uncharted 4, DriveClub, and The Last of Us, while the second throws in a copy of Ratchet & Clank in place of The Last of Us, and the last one offering Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, and No Man’s Sky. Oh, and you also get an in-ear stereo headset for your troubles.
No price point for any of the bundles was revealed, though Sony did note that they are only available at select retailers and vary depending on the country.
Sony’s flagship home console is quickly approaching its third anniversary, having originally launched in Europe and the U.S. back in November 2013. Japan received the console a little later in February 2014. Competing directly with the Xbox One, the PS4 quickly gained a significant lead over its main rival, and to date has sold over 40 million units worldwide.
The format holder has had a pretty significant year so far, with the release of Uncharted 4, PlayStation VR, and the PS4 Slim. In addition, it’s also launching its high-end PS4 Pro system, which allows for 4K gaming, on November 10, 2016. Microsoft’s own mid-cycle refresh, the Xbox Scorpio, won’t arrive until holiday 2017.
