I will get this title. I was considering skipping it but if I can transfer my data in the manner I am thinking, then even if I burn out, my money will be well spent.

I would like a monster hunter on Switch because then I can finally get to play on the big screen and the small screen for less than a small fortune.

You're both wrong, Capcom is desperately trying to avoid upgrading the graphics from PS2 quality. It's why they jumped from PS2 to PSP, then Wii, then Wii U/3DS. Oh I already knew that. But I'm talking about in terms of recent announcement. They could release a version on PS4 too with the same design but dat Nintendo Money of Quality yo ;p

 

But ya, which is one of the reasons why I hate MH other than the boring ass gameplay when I tried it on PSP and Wii.

I love the gameplay, so I dunno what you're talking about on that front.

And I'm sure that while Nintendo's money-hatting plays a role in their decision, it's likely dictated 99% by "Do we have to do anything to the models? No? Cool."

Pass.

I'm sick of Capcom being lazy cheapskates and endlessly regurgitating the same shitty old assets in "new" games that are really just glorified expansion packs.

Grow a backbone and make a proper new Monster Hunter that doesn't look like it fell out of a time machine from 2003.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

but...but the early 2000's were amazing.

They were, but a game releasing on 2016 should look better than stuff I played on Xbox/Gamecube 15 years ago.

Dragon's dogma is what you looking for 

they create that series for the west with gritty looking graphics , larger area , RPG stats and easy as shit compared to the monster hunter in term of difficulty to pander the series for western audiences 

 but for me gameplay >>> graphics

fighting level 140 Guild Guest Apex Rajang is harder than entire soul series + all action game combines

This is the company that ignored the SNES and continued to put their Megaman game on NES. This is just business as usual for Capcom.

I never said I wanted a larger area, RPG stats, or easier difficulty.

I just want Capcom to put in more than the bare minimum of effort and stop cutting every possible corner when it comes to this series. Monster Hunter has been stagnant recycled mush for like 5 years now when it could be so much more.
