One is the better "action" game. The other is the better "adventure" game. U4 wins on spectacle, regardless.

Agreed. That's why I could never understand the "witch hunt" mentality that Tomb Raider and RotTR seemed to have gotten in the past. It's like people went out of their way to bash them for some reason.
Or maybe they just genuinely disliked it and it's all in my head. I don't know. In any event, I'm just glad add many people as possible are able to play this great game.

I said RotTR is the better game earlier this year and caught a ton of shit for it. Unsurprisingly, now we will see PS4 users agreeing.

I loved both games, but give the edge to Unchrted 4 overall......I cared for nearly all the Uncharted characters while in ROTR I could careless about anyone other than Lara. Story, presentation, characters, action segments I give the edge to Uncharted. Gameplay wise I give ROTR. Tomb raider really needs better writers...

I feel if you graphics and charming story, Uncharted 4 all the way.
If want better everything else, RotTR.

I honestly could not stand ROTR for very long, the way lara behaves (like some sort of blow up doll) irritates me to the highest degree.. the animation bothered, in ROTR, it felt like Lara was skipping some frames when going from walking to running, or turning, really annoying... and I did not even get to shooting ennemies in the game - to be fair Uncharted 4 started a bit slow for my taste as well, however everything else made it interesting anyway, and when it picked up, mand did it (UC4) pick up for real? YEAH!
In therms of pure looks ROTR looks really great in many ways, but the image in Uncharted 4 is just a few notches above everything else I have seen in real time, especially those cut scenes.... Then again some people preferred the TR reboot over any previous Uncharted game, so I guess an argument could be made for Lara's games.
Yeaahhhh... I'm going to have to disagree with you on one too many reasons.
Gameplay, music, to story, Uncharted 4 is just a better game, RotR doesn't even have driving, but hey we all got our preferences.

I think ROTR is unappreciated, it's one of the best actions games ever made, and I'd say it's a tad better than U4. Better platforming, it actually has some meaningful exploration (I feel U4 has big areas sometimes just because of reasons), collectables, optional tombs are pretty cool... I guess I prefer the story and characters of U4, but the gameplay is more solid in ROTR.
