As of now Splatoon should be over or close to 1.7mil sold and probly do 1.9mil alone on wiiu.

But now with an enhanced port coming to Nintendo Switch can the game do an extra mil? Only 300k?

Hard to say for me, really depends on if it's 100% an enhanced port.

But I would think it would sell REALLY well considering the love for mobile gaming Japan has combined with their love for Splatoon. I honestly think if it's done right and the system takes off it can drop another million in Japan for sure.

Basicaly what ninjapirate say.If its an enhance port, probably only the more hardcore fans of splatoon will buy it.If its Splatoon 2 however....

It will stop to sell on Wii U only for a saturation reason. This game will literally get another life on Switch.

A NS port would easily sell at least another 500k in Japan.

Handheld Splatoon. That could be massive in Japan. Counting the almost certain 2m of the WiiU version, and assuming the Switch Splatoon is an upgraded version and not Spla2n, I can see the game beating the 3m copies sold.

Splatoon can be a killer app for Switch in JP I agree - but the game needs to be newer
